Photograph Rules for Visa Applications
Photos to be submitted for various applications should be as specified below.
- Photo of only the applicant
- Dimensions of the face must be from the top of the head [including the hair] to the tip of the chin
- Applicant should face the camera
- Photos must be with a plain white background
- Nothing in the background (including shadows)
- Photo must be clear
- Photo must be one taken within three months of date of submission
- Applicant name must be written on the back of the photo
- Applicant must not wear eyeglasses except for medical reasons
